recovering from ultra trail race

My bloody knees are buggered since the Karwendelmarsch 2 1/2 weeks ago.
(see if you fancy doing the same to yours next year.
Have been walking, Klettersteiging and swimming but none quite hit the spot. The knees are complainng less so I’m off to do a 20 minute trail run now. The weather has been amazing today so should be good. Being a veteran of many many knee problems, all non-serious but stubborn, I know that the best recovery often comes from running little and often so we’ll see….

…20 minutes later and the knees seem a lot better. Lovely sunny evening and saw some cute piglets on the way home. Not bad!
